| The Larson Electronics EXP-MTR-1P-230-0.5HP-3.6K-56 Explosion Proof Motor is recommended for use in Class I, Divisions 1 & 2 Groups C, D and Class II, Divisions 1 & 2 Groups E, F, G rated work sites. The 1/2 HP unit is compatible with 230V AC single phase 60 Hz and offers 3.4 FLA. This Class F insulation rated explosion proof motor features a NEMA 56 motor frame and can be installed with industrial systems via an intregrated mounting foot. The EXP-MTR-1P-230-0.5HP-3.6K-56 is a fractional explosion proof motor for flammable work sites. This thermally protected unit operates with 230V AC single phase 60 Hz. The 1/2 HP motor offers 3.4 full-load amps and 2.5 amps of no-load current. Capable of generating 3,450 RPM, the unit provides 0.751 lbs. ft. of torque, with 200% locked rotor torque and 280% break down torque. This motor is totally enclosed and fan-cooled (TEFC). The IP55-rated explosion proof motor features an ambient temperature rating of 50°C. Equipped with aluminum endshields, this unit is protected by a NEMA 56 motor frame and features Class F insulation, with 1.0 service factor. Wiring: The EXP-MTR-1P-230-0.5HP-3.6K-56 comes with 24" of +2/-0 leads for electrical connections and an unassembled aluminum conduit box. Mount: The EXP-MTR-1P-115-0.33HP-3.6K-56 is foot mounted for supporting the motor`s weight for sturdy, secure installations. Feet components are typically fixed on the surface, which reduces unnecessary movements during operation.
