Pre-owned, but unused. In good condition. From a 10”x10” sheet of thin napkin-grade paper, the quad-folded size of this cocktail napkin is 5”x5”. Folds and creases - yes; but, no tears or discoloration. The napkin is still white, and the printing is still strikingly red, some 80+ years later.
Please consult the accompanying photographs.
Clara Bow was the original “It Girl.” The leading sex symbol of 1920’s-30’s, she was a top box-office draw of the silent film era and successfully transitioned into the “talkies.”
Bow had starred in the 1927 blockbuster “It” at the age of 22. The “It” Cafe was at 1637 Vine St in the lobby of the Plaza Hotel near the corner of Hollywood and Vine, and was opened by Bow and her husband Rex Bell on September 3rd, 1937. They owned the restaurant for about a year.
