1940s French WW2 Doily Souvenir de France Hand Embroidered, Soldiers Gift to Wife or Mother
WW2 doily or handkerchief to a mother or sister from a soldier. The doily has the words Souvenir de France in scripted lettering and surrounded by hand embroidered red, blue, daisies on creamed colored mesh. It was hand embroidered. The handkerchief belonged to my grandmother.
8” diameter. Some loose threads on the scalloped edges.
