The product is a 1979-D 5C Jefferson Circulated Nickel. It hasn't been graded and is uncertified. This unique vintage coin features a filled Die Error where the D mint mark die is filled in as pictured. The front (Obverse) features a portrait of Thomas Jefferson, with Jefferson's Virgina home Monticello on the back (Reverse) side. Monticello's stairs are not at the optimal FS (Full Steps) designation as the steps aren't visible on this circulated and aged coin. It is part of the US coin series collection and is composed of 75% copper and 25% nickel. This copper-nickel alloy composition has been standard for Jefferson nickels since 1946.
