Lot of three volumes from The State Records of South Carolina series, publishing the official Journals of the South Carolina House of Representatives for the sessions 1783–1784, 1785–1786, and 1789–1790. Issued by the University of South Carolina Press for the South Carolina Department of Archives and History, these books reproduce the full legislative journals from the original manuscript records, including debates, petitions, financial measures, and other business in the years immediately after the American Revolution. Brown cloth hardcovers with cream dust jackets. An excellent research resource for South Carolina history, genealogy, and early American government, and a nice starter lot for anyone building the State Records of South Carolina series.
Two of the volumes are still sealed in plastic but do have some minor dust/dirt that has worked its way inside. The unsealed volume has minor wear to the dust jacket. No rips or tears to pages noted. See pictures for further details on
