1981 $20 star note from the Boston Federal Reserve Bank. Serial number A 00 273 895 *. This note has ONE small edge split below the second "T" in "Twenty" at the bottom. In addition, it has a couple of partial teller stamps on the face. Would grade around VF-20.
With the introduction of non-sequential serial number printing, star notes are expected to be discontinued in the near future (the exact date of discontinuance is unknown, but it is forthcoming). Get this before interest and prices in star notes rise!
