4711 Acqua Colonia Lemon & Ginger Perfume by Maurer & Wirtz, First introduced in March 2009, 4711 Acqua Colonia Lemon & Ginger by German design house Maurer & Wirtz is a deliciously fresh and spicy citrus and aromatic fragrance for women and men. This fruity gourmand scent combines bright Amalfi lemon and a sparkling ginger accord, producing an utterly elegant and energizing scent that is perfect for spring or summer occasions.Maurer & Wirtz was originally founded in Stolberg, Germany in 1854 by Michael Maurer and Andreas Wirtz, Maurer's stepson. The company first made its mark creating fine soaps, and has remained in the family for five generations, representing over 150 years of tradition. Until the 1990s the brand remained focused on the European market. However, in partnership with the Dalli-Werke Group the design house has expanded to develop sales outlets across the globe. Brand fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Cecile Hua, Geza Schoen, Wilhelm Muelhens, Vincent Schaller and Alexandra Kalle.
