Opening notes are light and citrusy from grapefruit, pineapple and violet leaf. Clary sage, geranium and apple comprise the sweet and herbal middle notes. This scent closes with earthy moss, patchouli and cashmere wood. The designers of this cologne are Jean-Christophe Herault and Aurelien Guichard. David Beckham was born in 1975 in London. He launched his first fragrance in 2005 with his wife, Victoria Beckham (née Adams). The couple met in 1997 at the peak of Beckham’s early soccer career and Victoria’s fame with the Spice Girls, an all-female British pop group. Beckham was signed to play for Manchester United at the age of 17. In his decade with Manchester United, the team won numerous championship titles. The Spanish team Real Madrid was next to sign Beckham, and he played for four seasons. In 2003, Beckham joined the United States Major League Soccer team the La Galaxy and played until his retirement in 2013.
