These stamps are in “like new” EXCELLENT condition, attached to an envelope and features a bonus pre printed stamp of Lady Liberty 6 cent also on the envelope.
Thomas Jefferson lived between (1743 – 1826). Stamp was issued in 1968 in the US.
Thomas Jefferson was an American statesman, diplomat, lawyer, architect, philosopher, and Founding Father who served as the third president of the United States from 1801 to 1809.
Among the Committee of Five charged by the Second Continental Congress with drafting the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson was the document's primary author.
These were purchased by my grandfathers business and were never used before their contract ended and have been stored appropriately in his attic for over 40 years for some and were forgotten about. Never touched, and bare no signs of damage. We have MANY of these prestine stamp combinations all in GREAT UNUSED/UNCIRCULATED CONDITION! These will make a GREAT addition to anyone’s vintage stamp collection!
