Book club edition hardcover set of A Game of Thrones and A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin (Bantam Books, 1999). Books one and two in the beloved epic fantasy series, A Song of Ice and Fire. The basis for the HBO television series. Jackets now protected in new (removable) archival sleeves but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges - including chipping, creasing and small tears, especially to top edge of Clash’s spine. Boards are straight and clean but with corners slightly bumped. Bindings are firm and spines are straight though text block of GoT sags a bit at top of book. Faint staining to center few dozen pages of Clash at bottom of book near gutter. Otherwise, all pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
