William Henry Dyer (1890-1930) was a prolific painter who lived and died with a brush in his hand. As a highly regarded artist, his work has appeared in countless auctions and exhibitions across the country. Records reveal his work often sold above the asking price. The present piece presents a rural village at the break of dawn, with smoke rising from freshly lit fires and neighbours exchanging their news together. Dyer’s autograph can be found in the bottom left corner of this late antique Victorian art work. It is an original watercolour painting and has a quality gold gilt frame, matching mount and is fully glazed. Size 45x35cm.
