Original 1882 Anchor Line of Steamers ephemera featuring a passenger list and sailing flyer. Includes a printed broadside announcing the voyage of the Castalia from Boston to Glasgow on October 25, 1882, under Commander Blanchard Ward, as well as a passenger list booklet for the S.S. Devonia saloon passengers traveling from New York to Glasgow on June 17, 1882, under Commander Hugh Young. The passenger booklet lists numerous travelers, along with engraved illustrations of ships, flags, and notable Scottish landmarks including Edinburgh Castle and the Giant's Causeway. Both pieces show expected age wear, toning, and edge wear consistent with authentic late 19th-century maritime ephemera. An excellent collectible for transatlantic steamship history, genealogy research, and Scottish-American immigration heritage.
