This piece features wonderful detail with vibrant colors of a woman holding out her right hard with a book in her palm
There is a colorful circle behind the woman, with much detail, as well as other shapes and details along the sides
The piece is signed on the lower right hand side
This piece measures 10 1/2" x 6 1/8"
We are not sure if the artist used watercolor, colored pencils or some other medium
Biography of Elmer William Pirson:
An American Illustrator and painter, Elmer William Pirson was born in 1888 in New York.
Artistically, he is known to have studied under George Bridgman and James Earle Fraser of the Art Students League in New York City.
He was a member of the Guild of Freelance Artists.
The artist had a number of illustrations in Judge Magazine, including a cover. Pirson maintained a studi
