A very rare piece of history that was used in storage and shipping of candy from the Ideal Candy Company in Louisville, Kentucky. The pulp paper container was made by the John Strange Pail Company in Neenah, Wisconsin. Dated on bottom 1914, please see pictures for more details as they are part of the description. Measures approximately 14 inches tall and 13 inches wide, with wooden slates on top and metal banding. The wooden handle is wire attached.
