This early 20th-century stoneware crock features a smooth white Bristol glaze, original wire bail handle with turned wooden grip, and a matching fitted lid. Traditionally used for butter or preserves, this piece dates from approximately 1900–1930 and was likely produced in the Midwest (Red Wing, Monmouth, or Western Stoneware region).

Era: Early 1900s (ca. 1900–1930s)

Material: Stoneware, Bristol glaze

Features: Wire bail handle with wood grip, matching lid, crazing throughout

Condition: Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear. Notable crazing to glaze, some small chips near base rim, and hairline on lid underside (see photos). The wire handle shows patina. Sturdy and displays beautifully.

Size: Approximately 6 inches x 6 inches

An excellent addition for collectors of antique stoneware, farmhouse kitchen decor, or functional display.
