[Product Description]
This unusual and superhuman baseball anime was broadcast for six months starting in 1971, and its abnormally deformed and powerful depictions had a huge impact (or trauma) on children at the time.
The story follows Dojima Go, a teacher who comes to the sparsely populated village known as Apache Village. He brings together the unruly students through the sport of baseball, and they eventually develop friendships. This dramatic story is told through the unusually unique characters, whose names include "Abashiri," "Zaimoku," and "Happa," making it a moving, exhilarating, and quite absurd work.
