The APC SMT1500IC is a tower style uninterruptible power supply that provides 1500 volt-amperes, or 1000 watts, of pure sine wave power. It keeps servers, network switches, storage arrays, and other mission critical electronics running smoothly when the mains fail or fluctuate.

Using a line interactive topology, the unit constantly conditions incoming electricity. Its automatic voltage regulation circuitry raises low input voltage and lowers overvoltage without drawing on the battery, so valuable runtime is preserved for genuine outages and connected equipment receives a steady feed of clean power.

Eight rear IEC C13 outlets let you attach several devices without competing for sockets, making the UPS a natural fit for small server rooms, branch offices, retail point-of-sale racks, and home labs. A front panel LCD shows input voltage, estimated runtime, load level, and event history at a glance, so on-site checks are quick and clear.

Remote visibility is built in. The SmartConnect Ethernet port links the UPS to a standard web browser or the free APC cloud portal, allowing you to review battery health, receive email alerts, and schedule maintenance from anywhere. For deeper integration with network management systems, the SmartSlot accepts an optional card that adds full SNMP control.

Maintenance stays simple thanks to a user replaceable battery that uses lead acid chemistry and arrives sealed from the factory.
