To handle uplinks or server connections, the switch adds two ports that accept 10 Gbps, 25 Gbps, or 50 Gbps transceivers, plus two more ports that support 10 Gbps or 25 Gbps with built-in MACSec. This mix lets network architects design flexible topologies, balance bandwidth, and secure traffic in flight between wiring closets or to the data center core.

Installation and day-to-day access feel straightforward. A USB-C console, a standard RJ interface, and an optional Bluetooth dongle work with the Aruba CX Mobile App, giving administrators several ways to bring the switch online or troubleshoot in the field. Once deployed, Aruba CX software offers a modern interface, rich automation options, and the ability to stack up to ten units so expansion does not add operational overhead.
