Authentic 1885–1905 studio photography from Seward, Nebraska. This lot features two large-format cabinet cards and one rare traveling railroad studio card.
Photo 1: Rare Palace R.R. Photograph Car portrait featuring an infant in a classic Victorian wicker peacock chair. These mobile "Palace" rail studios are highly collectible historical artifacts from itinerant photographers who traveled the railroad lines.
Photo 2: W.D. Givens Seward, Neb. signed portrait of a young child. The subject wears a striking Edwardian-era white dress with tiered ruffles and intricate lace detailing. Givens was the most prominent photographer in the county, known for high-contrast professional work.
Photo 3: Full-length portrait of a toddler in a white gown and tiny dark boots, standing beside a studio prop chair. The charcoal-toned mount features an elegant embossed oval border, typical of refined turn-of-the-century aesthetics.
Condition: All three images maintain remarkable clarity and deep tonal values.
