Original World War II U.S. Army Air Forces Type B-9 Heavy flight jacket, manufactured by Appleton Manufacturing Co. under original WWII contract. This is not a reproduction.

The Type B-9 was issued to USAAF aircrews for extreme cold-weather operations during WWII and is one of the most sought-after WWII flight jackets. This example retains its original contract tag, quilted lining, alpaca pile hood and collar, and WWII-correct hardware.
