Beautiful Antique Persian Miniatures Hand Painted Bone Panel Bracelet

Here’s another gorgeous piece I found for your jewelry collection. This antique bracelet is Persian and painted in the same fashion as the miniatures they are so well known for. Usually with these bracelets, they tell a story from one side to the other. I’ve seen other bracelets similar to this online, but many of them do not have the detail of the painting that this one does. Some of them look almost like watercolor brush strokes. This bracelet is more like what I saw when I lived in Turkey, in fact I bought a small Persian miniature painting there in Istanbul, and the style is almost the same. There’s a general overall warm tone to this bracelet due to the natural material of bone that it is painted on. Generally, these are yak bone.
Overall, the quality is still very good. If you look carefully at the photos and see tiny little white spots that seem out of place, those are tiny areas of missing paint revealing the white priming underneath. The clasp is still working well.
