Old fashioned biscuit warmer we refer to as Penguins. Eight little penguins, four on each side between the handles are raised in the steel. This one for more than 50 years old. It was made by the West Bend Company out of West Bend, Wisconsin, U.S.A. of stainless steel with the lower part double walled to hold heat or cold. We always put a tea towel inside to wrap the biscuits, which would stay warm for hours. The two handles on the sides and the nob on the lid are made of plastic. There is one spot of rust on the edge of the lid. Embedded in the bottom are WEST BEND with a picture of a penguin. Through the penguin is written Penguin HOT and COLD SERVER ®️. A screw holds the interior down to the bottom part. Under the screw is PATENT NUMBER 349,099. Under that is The West Bend Company. Under that West Bend, Wisconsin. And lastly under that Made in U.S.A. There are three raised stainless steel nobs around the perimeter of the bottom for the Penguin to sit on.
