Large hand-thrown yakishime stoneware plate, approx. 11 inches diameter, showing classic Bizen/Shigaraki kiln effects. Wood-fired with natural ash glaze, featuring warm iron-rich tones, feldspathic ash buildup, subtle scorch marks, and granular clay texture. Unglazed, high-fired surface with a pronounced foot ring and organic firing variations, each mark a result of placement in the kiln.
Unsigned to the underside. Suitable for display or use as a serving plate in a wabi-sabi aesthetic.
