Handmade 3rd century BCE to 5th century CE AD clasp and an unknown bronze "U" shaped object. I'm taking a guess as to what it may be and it would appear to be another type of 2 part clasp system. I can not say with certainty exactly what it was used for. I do know that the coloring of patina seen on this U clasp is usually seen on objects thousands of years old. 2000+ years. Here's how to tell The difference between a natural and fake patina.A real patina is smoothish to the touch with subtle variations of dulling color.Patina coloring depend on the metal the object is made from and the elements in and around the object where it's been buried or stored.A fake chemical patina, not only extremely dangerous to the body is rough like sandpaper too the touch and brightly colored.Almost a speckle type coloring. To test use a needle to chip off a small piece exposing the metal that's mainly made from copper.
