| Made in the USA The Larson Electronics HLSW-MDS-20A-6P Explosion Proof Disconnect Switch is designed for managing electrical connections in hazardous locations. This 20-amp unit is rated at 690V AC and offers compatibility with three phase. Constructed of non-metallic fiberglass-reinforced polyester, the disconnect switch is housed in an IP66-rated enclosure. This 6-pole hazardous location switch can be mounted on walls for seamless access. The HLSW-MDS-20A-6P provides operators with a reliable method for managing electrical circuits and power in Class I, Division 2 and Class II, Division 1 & 2 work sites. This unit is rated for 20 amps with a maximum voltage rating of 690V AC. The 6-pole disconnect switch is compatible with three phase and features one, normally closed (NC) contact. The large rotary handles provide streamlined activation for operators with gloved hands. For adhering to OSHA lockout/tagout guidelines, the handle is lockable. The explosion proof disconnect switch is constructed of non-metallic fiberglass-reinforced polyester with silicon gasketing and stainless steel cover screws. The handle is made out of impact-resistant thermoplastic. Compared to bulky cast metal variants, this unit is lightweight and very resistant to the effects of corrosion and hard impacts. Operators can mount the ATEX-approved disconnect switch on compatible walls, via the wall mounting plate. Two, 1/2" conduit entries are available for completing electrical connections. Applications: Petroleum refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, paint spray booths, food manufacturing buildings, grain storage, agricultural operations, flammable work sites and more. |
