This Limited Edition 'Caithness' glass egg is a beautiful piece of art glass that would compliment any decor...especially in a sunny window. As you can see from the pictures, the very bottom of the egg, where it is signed, is a beautiful translucent deep purple color. It is signed in that area, "119-150, Cathiness, Azurina, Scotland". The word, 'Azurina' appears to be hand printed. It has 8 smooth oval medation type carvings all around the center of it, plus a starburst type carving at the very top of it. Inside the glass is an additional blown glass decor that looks like a beautiful blue flower blooming open. Around that are additional petals of flowers in purple & blue.
