First edition, second printing hardcover copy of Charts and Graphs: An Introduction to Graphic Methods in the Control & Analysis of Statistics br Karl G. Karsten (Prentice Hall, 1925). Originally published in 1923. Very rare vintage statistics / mathematics book used heavily in the development of stock market / finance evaluation and analysis. Karsten eventually started the first hedge fund in 1930.

Moderate to heavy wear to covers, especially around the edges. Corners bumped and frayed, including spine ends. Mild blemishes and staining to maroon boards. Gilt lettering faded. Hinges split and binding loose though all pages remain attached. Small “10” written on front free endpaper and with wax stamp applied to pastedown. An apparent checkout slip or ex-libris sticker torn out of rear endpaper, though no other signs of library use are present if so.
