This Coblentz Original vintage purse is made of PermaSuede with a satin lining. It features double handles, luxurious PermaSuede on the outside, and one large inner pocket and two smaller pockets. The Coblentz label catered to a high-end market and was an assurance of high-quality craftsmanship and elegance. The company opened in New York, N.Y. in 1935 and closed in the 1980's. This bag is marked "Coblentz /Original" and "PermaSuede /Crock Resistant". 'Crock' means 'smudge' or 'stain'. It may be smudge resistant, but I found some small smudges on the outside of the bag, the same color as the bag. This condition is reflected in the price. Size of purse: 8 in. high x 8¾ in. wide.
