Vintage and rare sitting Elephant Cookie Jar made in Japan. It has a nice bronze/brown glaze. He is dressed with a collared shirt, polka dot tie, suspenders, and striped pants. He has blue eyes and has a baseball cap on. This is in good display condition and would look great in a collection.
There are no major breaks or cracks. There are two noteable chips, one in front, one in back. The chip in front is on the white of the collar, and is hardly noticeable. (See last 2 pictures)
There is crazing throughout, which is expected with a glazed jar this old.
Shipping is extremely secure and I use plenty of bubble wrap.
