A rare book which thoroughly examines the lives of the Towne family who had two sisters executed during the Salem witch trials in the 17th century. An investigative journalism nonfiction book delving into the occult and the spiritual and political hysteria of the time. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing to faces and shelf wear around the edges. Some darkened areas around outer edges from rubbing.
