This is a wonderful offset lithograph of the historic Wink Theater in Downtown Dalton Georgia by Davis Cone. It is hand-signed in the lower right by the artist. The print measures 19in x 20.75in and the image area is 16.5in x 18.75in. The print has never been framed and is in mint condition.Davis Cone is a contemporary realist painter born in Augusta, Georgia. He known for his brightly-neon lit art-deco theater exteriors and is part of the American realism art movement. His paintings have been exhibited worldwide. His works are featured in two books, Popcorn Palaces and Hollywood on Main Street.The Wink Theater was built in 1941 by J.C.W. Wink. It was completely remodeled in 2002 and is one of the oldest buildings Dalton, Georgia.
