The brand describes it as a "dry musk that starts with lime and bergamot, two top notes with tart, sour, spicy and floral undertones and a sharp edge. A single jasmine note in the heart lends creamy, floral, narcotic and slightly woody facets. This scent closes with white musk and powdery notes, giving the blend a soft and warm dry-down.

Demeter Fragrance Library was founded in 1993 by two entrepreneurs: experimental perfumer Christopher Brosius and marketing exec Christopher Gable.
