Full Disclosure: not 100% certain what I have here. My great aunt was a fan of music of all genres, and I'm told she played quite a bit of music when she was younger.
This is a Pirastro Wondertone Chromium Steel Ultra Sensitive Double Bass D Nr. 782 String. Says Orchestra Tuning Black Silk End. In doing my research, these are old. The paper inside is written in German. Contemporary string of the brand are going for $250. This is brand new in the package and I have multiple. 5 of the 782 and 6 of the 783.
If you know anything about them, and I am way off base, I would love to hear about them. So yes, I am selling, but I am also in the market to be educated about them.
