Set of 2 Limited Edition Lithographs, signed and numbered of two different scenes of early 1900s Pismo created in 1982.
SURFSIDE DANCE PAVILION built about 1893 by Mr. Ward, attracted the big bands in the 20's, 30's & 40's. Dorsey Bros, Benny Goodman, Paul Whiteman, Frankie Carl, Harry James, Phil Harris, Glen Gray, Harry Owens, Guy Lombardo & more. 2200 people paid to attend the last dance before the building burned in 1945. The Pier Parking lot covers the spot where the Pavilion was erected on giant pilings over sand at the ocean edge.

CYPRESS STREET, the old Main Street of Pismo, 1933 looking toward Pomeroy. Few of the small shops remain today. Note the Post Office about midway down the street. The Postmaster, Fred Lindley, circulated the petition that changed Pismo or El Pizmo officially to Pismo Beach on July 1, 1923.

DANIEL MARTIN, a celebrated Central Coast artist was well known for his paintings and pencil drawings of Central Coast landmarks.
