So this piece of art is called " Big fish eats little fish " and made by Martin Barooshian ( American 1920-2022). He was a master in making artwork using intaglio etching and aquatint, where paint and ink will be transferred on a metal plater and aquatint will create tonal color areas and gradients, similar to watercolor washes, rather than just lines. His pieces were truly very beautiful with lots of different depths of paint so the fish will never look the same, different day or light will create something new and unexpected. This artwork was created in 1981, and as always is signed by artist in pencil and same goes for the title of picture. At auction his artwork sells for from $450 and $650 easily so if you ever wanted to start collecting artwork that will go up in value with time, now is your time.
