All 12 months! Would be a fabulous art installation.
"These calendar pages come from the rare book Calendrier Magique, which was printed in France in 1895 in a small run of 777 copies. The book blends Art Nouveau imagery with references to occult ceremonies, horoscopes, and tarot."
- Slate Magazine
Design and printed by Art Nouveau Master Manuel Orazi, an Italian lithographer working in Paris and text written by Count Austin de Croze- a folklorist who wrote on French foodways.
Part spoof, part exploration, the illustrations are incredibly inspiring and captivating.
I've combined what would be two separate pages in to one poster, restore and modifying parts that were cut off at the seams or edges.
Each month has a "monogram" and theme.
All works have been refurbished and adjusted digitally to fit standard frame
