The Basement Watchdog 1.5 in. rubber-booted check valve is both quiet and creates a more stable installation. The check valve is spring loaded and has an angled seat to muffle the loud 'klunk' after the pump turns off. The BW-CVK15 check valve allows the PVC discharge to be seated inside the ends of the valve itself, taking the pressure off the couplings for a clean and secure connection with no wobble or lean. This check valve can be used in either horizontal or vertical (solid free) installations, is compatible with schedule 40 and 80 PVC, and works in both sump and effluent applications.
