This is a single three-piece “teatime” place setting containing a dessert/luncheon plate with a teacup and saucer. It is made by Hammersley (England); it was made between 1939-1960s. It is in the rare “stagecoach” pattern—much Hammersley Is floral. The pieces depict a full stagecoach traveling down a peaceful road. There is a church in the background. All three pieces have gold-rimmed scalloped edges. The china is in very good condition. There is some darkening and grime on the gold rims. There is only one visible spot of gold loss. It’s on the saucer and is shown in the second to last photo. There is some grime on the bottom surface of the cup. There is a tiny flea bite in the bottom rim of the dessert plate, shown in the last pic. The plate is 8-1/4” across and 5/8” high. The saucer is 5-1/2” across and 1-1/8” high. The cup is 5” wide (outer edge of handle to opposite rim) and 2-1/2” high.
