Handmade Skatedeck footsool / bench

Love using tools and building stuff, personally don’t like the quality of the junk in the big box stores. Had a bunch of used skate decks and pulled some of my favorite graphic decks. The colors on this deck were rad, looked like a wizard when it was fresh, on the tail there’s a bunch of skulls.

The width is obvious, the height is about a foot and a half. I glued 2 .25” plywood boards and cut out the shape, rounded off the edges. Stained the sides black but pulled it off before it could fully set. I left the front and backs the wood color, then I waxed the edges for a finish. The hardware used is ment to be rustic looking and exposed.

Defiantly a great footstool to put your shoes on, now that I’m in my 40s I can’t just hop around trying to put my shoes on anymore, broken necks aren’t cheap.
