This was a custom request from a customer who wanted two internal slip pockets added to her bag. The photos show the full transformation process:

First, I made the slip pockets separately.
Then I carefully opened up the bottom seam of the bag—this step requires extra care to avoid damaging the fabric.
I stitched the pockets onto the lining.
Next, I reattached the outer fabric, lining, and pockets all together, taking care to avoid the bias.
Finally, I sewed the bias back on and finished with a top stitch from the outside to secure everything in place.
