For sale is a unique specimen from mined in Herkimer County, New York: a Herkimer diamond quartz with black druze. I dub this piece "The Whale" due to its whale-like shape! Comes with stand.
This piece features beautiful, clear Herkimers quartz with signature double terminations along with naturally-formed calcite inbetween. Beneath this quartz clusters lie a bed of sparkling black druze.
For those aware, the presence of black druze with Herkimer is exceptionally rare. The miner of this piece said they may find black druze every 100-200 "pockets" that they search.
