Released in 1966.
The "Minolta Hi-Matic series" was released in 1961 and was a popular camera produced for over 20 years.
The HI-MATIC 9 was released in 1966 as a higher-end model.
The exposure meter uses CdS, so it is more accurate than exposure meters that use selenium light.
It is basically a camera used in program EE mode by setting it to "A・A", but you can also use manual exposure based on the EV information displayed in the viewfinder, and aperture-priority EE, which automatically determines the aperture for the shutter speed, allowing for three types of exposure.
The lens is a bright F1.7, so you can take soft photos when shooting wide open.
Stopping down the aperture will result in sharp photos.
