The Insta-Plumb 1-1/2 in. trap adapter allows for a faster and easier install with no nuts, washers, tools, or glue needed. The simple push to install, press to release connections of Insta-Plumb products connect quickly to 1-1/2 in. O.D. size plastic drain pipes and 1-1/2 In. SCH 40 PVC or ABS, connecting the trap to the pipe coming out of the wall. This eliminates the need to use solvents or glues, plus it is great for hard-to-reach or confined areas under a sink. The fittings are removable/reusable with an integrated press release collar and can be re-positioned for perfect alignment. This kit features a stainless steel grip ring that holds the connection tight and an O-ring for a leak-free seal so you can install with confidence. Combine this item with other Insta-Plumb products to complete your under sink drainage project quickly, easily, and reliably. It is not for use with brass tubing, pipes under pressure, or potable water.
