Overview: Up for sale is this fantastic woodblock print, "Haniwa (2)" by modernist Japanese printmaker, Kiyoshi Saito. It depicts a four figures in Saito's trademark modernist/cubist style. Saito is famous for being one of the earliest Japanese print artists to move from traditionalist styles and themes to more modern art-style subjects. Print is titled "Haniwa (2)" in pencil at bottom center. Print comes matted and framed in a period wood frame. There is a plexiglass that covers the print itself.
Condition: Print is in very good condition. Minor discoloration. Frame is in good condition with some minor chipping/paint loss.
Measurements: Print measures approximately 14 inches wide x 7 inches high. Frame measures approximately 16.5 inches wide x 9.5 inches high.
