This pewter dish has a shield and crown decoration, beautifully made and believed to be from the late 1800s from France or Belgium.

The mark on the back is a crown and rosette (a European quality mark) and the N. D. in the top of the crown, which stands for maker Nicola Ducan. The crowned rose was used on pewter from the mid 16th century to denote higher-quality metal. Very rare, unique and collectable piece.

Measurements: 10 inches long x 7 inches wide

Condition: In good antique shape. Some minor scratches as shown in pictures.
