This listing is for an aluminum powder tin designed by Rene Lalique in 1944 for Cheramy, New York to hold their LOV-LOR face powder. The top of the box has an embossed Art Deco design of Queen Ann lace flowers standing in relief with a darker textured background. Box is marked on base "LOV-LOR Face Powder, Cheramy, New York". Lalique's design for this box is illustrated in both "Warman's Lalique" by Mark Moran and "Rene Lalique" by Mathias Sorel-Beck.
Measures 1 1/2" high and 2 3/4" square.
The tin is in very good Estate condition reflecting only minor signs of normal wear.
