Description: This is a hand-crafted ceramic wall tile made by Mad Monk Art, the studio of C.C. and Shiu-Ping Lee in Florida. The tile features a beautifully detailed white egret or heron standing among cattails, with a dragonfly in the lower corner. The design is raised and glazed in soft natural colors, while the background is left unglazed to create a rustic, textured contrast.
The tile measures approximately 7 inches tall by 6 inches wide, as shown in the photos with the tape measure. An impressed artist's seal mark appears in the lower right corner of the design. The back is unglazed and retains the original hanging loop.
Overall, the piece is in good vintage condition. There are natural surface variations typical of handmade tiles, but no cracks or repairs are visible.
