"Magnetic Tofa" Mint 1960 Magnetic Wooden Block Toy, Made in Czechoslovakia

Magnetic Tofa was a 1960’s game for kids over 3 years old to help them create designs on a magnetic board with colorful wooden pieces that have small magnets on the underside so they cling to the black painted metal board. Most every “Magnetic Tofa” set I’ve seen has a scratched black metal board, especially on the back side. Here the black metal board doesn’t have scratches or patches of missing black paint on the backside. This set before you is an unused, mint condition “Magnetic Tofa” Made in Czechoslovakia around 1960-1961. It was bought in the 1990’s in a vintage toy store in Rome, Italy. The cardboard box also is in great mint condition. The 23 wooden colored magnetized pieces and 2 unpainted wooden stand pieces are in mint condition. The “examples’ paper” is in mint condition. Dimensions: box, 6.7” by 9.85”; black board, 6.1” by 9.25.” Weighs 12.85 ounces. This 1960 toy is best for collectors because of the unused mint condition, a European “Baby Boomer’s” era toy.
