This is a very fine example of a World War ll style vintage Bulova called the Commodore. It has the same nickel round case that was used during the war, but has a 1951 updated 10BCC movement that has 17 jewels with a red sweep second hand. The movement has been serviced in the last 2 years and appears to keep good time for a watch of that period. The crystal is perfect and the case is in phenomenal condition. It measures 32mm, which is a standard size for a mens watch of the period, and has a defect free silver/gold dial with gold markers, luminous hands and a red sweep second. The caseback is screwback and has an engraving," To Jim with Love, Anne." I left it as a great touch, however, if desired by a buyer I would be happy to have it professionally removed. The band is by Spiedel of the USA, is all stainless steel and in beautiful like new condition. It will fit up to a 8" wrist, with comfort. This Commodore is in collectible condition and can also be worn daily.
