This is a hand painted Talavera oil lantern. While we recommend this item be used as a decorative accent, the lantern is functional. This beautiful ceramic torch features a clay insert with wick and snuffer. To use, pour lantern oil (not included) into ceramic insert then put on metal cover and wick. Allow wick to soak in oil for 24 hours before burning. Please use with caution*.
